It's...good, but makes me realize that my 450 was great(for me). I'm sure once I get more used to the 250, I'll love it. It is, and feels, light.

    My issues so far are:

Suspension sucks. It deflects off everything in its path, and doesn't roll over anything. It is set up for a guy way lighter than me, so a trip to see PK at Computrack Boston will help that; it made a fucking world of difference on the 450, so I'm spoiled.

I got a 250 thinking it would be less powerful and somehow more controllable; this bike feels the opposite. I don't know whether it's the fuel injection, newer motor, or just lighter bike, but the throttle feels like an on/off switch, and combined with the soft suspension, it's like riding a seesaw - touch throttle, bike tosses me backwards, roll off, it tosses me forward. I've got a G2 throttle tamer and Steg Pegz coming for it to hopefully help with this.

Overall, my 450 is a pretty hard bike to beat. It's got all the power, but you can crawl along at barely a walking pace on it with zero effort, never touching the clutch. Even though is has a Rekluse also, the 250 just isn't like that. My hope is that as I ride it more, I'll adapt to it and it will make me a better rider.

Ya, my kid is loving it. Going from dirt to snow to ice in just a month or two. His ability to learn and progress are amazing me.

Just ordered a set of 17's for it. He will be doing his first trackday with penguin in 6 months on this bike. The 150R is a lot like the 500EXC, does it all..very very well

They used to have crank issues. Just worried me thinking about sumo with potential crank problems.

I'm just seeing if anyone would be interested before I start to plan this.
Ok, this WILL happen in 2019. Sorry for the delay, but it took awhile to hear back from the insurance company. I have many AA NETRA rider's committed and are excited about it. Not sure on a date yet. Thinking May or June. Cost will be around $50 and that includes food. Any bike is dirt bike welcome and does not need to be street legal or confirm to sound restrictions. Depending on class size and interest, I can do more dates during the year. And people can sign up to take the class's more than once.

Also, the club will be doing a into to trials event next year as well. That is in the works too. I will keep you all posted.
