    Default Camping + MTB

My wife and I finally replaced our bikes that got stolen. She also had a blast the one time I brought her camping with her two friends. I did a ton of camping as a kid with the family and want to make it another cheap hobby to get us outdoors.
Does anyone know of any good campgrounds that has some easy mountain biking trails?

Tent camping, needs bathrooms + showers. 1-2 hour driving range (from central CT)

One of the campgrounds I've been to the most (and the one I brought my wife to has everything, but looking for new campgrounds as well)

Tolland State Forest(Mass) (we call it Otis)

Take a look at this list.

I can't think of any with showers.

Devils hopyard closed its camping a few years ago.

Google tree farm camp ground in VT. There are plenty of nearby trails.

So, tot totally hijack this thread:

Anyone know of any campgrounds within an hour or two of New Haven that a little less family friendly than others?

Not looking to do meth and murder people, but some buddies and I wanted to go camping. We used to go to a friend's property in VT, but that's gotten more difficult as people's schedules got more complex. We just wanna be able to drink(lots of CT campgrounds don't allow alcohol) and sit around a fire BSing past 10pm.

Yeah, unfortunately that poses a challenge too.

I did a KTM dirt ride at Pachaug a few years ago and most of the guys camped there, sounded like they had a blast. A few other places are cool with alcohol too.

Devils Hopyard is going to be open for camping in 2018.
