    Default Track Bike Paint Completed

As finished. The mods include removal of headlights, add clip-ons, carbon wheels, rear set and race seat.

Yes, aesthetically it would be much better, and would take off a good amount of weight. Also, note that I still have the rear pegs on the bike. I figure that they are a form of slider. They actually did get a scrape when I crashed last time. It wasn't much compared to what happened when the bike went airbound after sliding into the grass.

However, I prefer to leave the performance side of the bike stock; it works perfectly and is nice and quiet. The throttle application for example, is beautifully linear, maybe that wouldn't change, but why mess with it. Some of the time, the "performance" parts don't add any performance, and I don't think the bikes' performance is the limiting factor in the rider/bike package.

If it happens to meet the ground, I will change it, but otherwise, didn't want to fool with something that works so well.

What needed to be repainted, I did. It was the tail piece and the tank, the blue tank cover piece, and part of the fairing. I painted it in my driveway. I had posted some pictures of the process earlier.

I had some trouble with clear and orange peel, but seemed to get that worked out good enough.
