    Default Inflation is a bitch

The million dollar mille has begun it's transformation to the trillion dollar tuono (damn, I'm gonna need a new license plate). I modified a CAD model of the limited production RSV1000R Nera so that it would match the geometry of my 1st gen bike, added provisions to use the factory handlebar clamp for a 2nd gen Tuono, and combined it all with a set of handlebars and OE bar end weights powder coated by our own Fasyankee. Tuono specific front fairing stay has arrived from italy (finding them used is a bitch), new brake and clutch lines, extra fancy RCS brake and clutch master cylinders, and a bunch of CF bodywork is all on it's way over the next several weeks. All in all, should be a pretty smooth conversion. Not much to show for it at the moment except the new cockpit with the powder coated parts but more pics to come as more stuff gets bolted on.

Remember that time he built a new bike out of spare parts?

I remember the battery that turned into a flaming appliance that nearly trashed a very pretty big boy track bike.

Hey now, the swingarm has been going strong for a while now. And unlike that mod, this time I already have all the ridiculously expensive custom bits in hand, just waiting on the OE parts

Don't you have some oil to forget to put in your engine?

    That bike was never pretty...

But in fine Honda fashion, it's still running and being ridden

As opposed to the Suzukis and now Ducs that usually go to die boring deaths in your garage.
