Can the site content be backed up and kept accessible somewhere? There are a lot of great informative threads on here that can probably help others still. just a thought

There is part of me that wants to throw a hail marry.

And another part of me that wants to say, it was a great run.

Either way, Dave and Dima, you guys created something that was amazing in its prime. Thank you. I owe this site for some of my life long friends and some of my favorite memories.

I'd be willing to set up a $10/month reoccurring donation if we could get some others to commit to keeping it open.

I'd also be willing to do a recurring donation. I can't say how active I'll be as far as motorcycle content goes but having such a vast pool of knowledge from people who can build a deck, cut parts on a lathe, do tires or whatever else. I'd hate to see it go away to nothing but I dont like seeing the burden placed on only two people to manage it.

The real question isn't really the money, we can easily all subscribe at $1-$5 a month and keep the site up and going. The question, the real one is, should we and if so for what? Is it to keep historical info? To not let it go? Because we love the idea of the Site more so than the actual site itself? Do we hold on for the sake of holding on?

I think there's potential in reviving the community and events and shit.

As everyone kind of acclimates to their new normal with responsibilities, kids or whatever, house chores... there's still time in the weekend for a two or three hour ride / lunch / etc.

I'm planning on finally digging into an older CB1000 I picked up a while ago once I get the last bit of my garage squared away. It would be pretty cool to document that journey here.

That said, we also need to do a better job of A) recruiting new members and B) doing our best to welcome newbies.

Yes, the Golden Age of forums was maybe 10 years ago, but as people shun Facebook and other social media sites, I fully believe there could be a decent revival of hobby specific forums. The huge benefit to the forum over, say, a Facebook group, is the presentation of information. Everything is organized and it's relatively easy to find older content.

BoRn has was a great source when I was still riding, but as Dave said, most people aren't riding on the street or are doing other things. I've only ever come to check in on things for sale or etc..

Would be sad to see it go but I appreciate the memories.

I just visit out of habit and to start fights.

This place helped me make some great friends that will be in my life long after this site dies.

I say let it go, it’s done.

    Thanks for the good times.
